Do celebreities get the same treatment as us?

Do celebreities get the same treatment as "normal" ranked people? If so, why do so many complain they dont? If not, is this fair? Do they deserve this special treatment?

No, They get treated better. It's not really fair that they do but that's just how society rolls, it's kind of simular to social class and treatment.

They get treated the same, but people pay attention to them more than they do to us regular people.

Of course they don't. Take Paris Hilton for example, she got sent to prison for breaking the law, stayed there the maximum 2 days, then they let her out because of her celebrity status. If any 'ordinary' person got sent down, we would have to stay there for the full sentence.

Well obviously they do, and obviously it's not fair but that's the way it is. I think at the end of the day, everyone will think it's unfair but it's us (not necessarily us, but the general public) who buy magazines, who buy CDs, who follow the movements of celebrities so it's because of other people that celebs get the treatment they do, not celebrities themselves.
