Swapitshop Maximum BidsGood Idea or Bad?
I think its a good idea because people who dont have millions of swapits get a chance to actully win something, without people like muller buying it all just to resell..
Its a bad idea because people who go out and buy stuff for people might stop it and you should be allowed to spend your swapits on what you want...
What do you think?

Yes people spend their time making swapits but i think its more fair this way to give everyone a chance to get something they want..
Its greedy when people go around buying all the consoles..when there are kids who really want one, bid 50k or whatever just to be outbid by someone whos got 400 already up on ebay!!

Very bad...as said before people earn their swapits by selling so should be able to buy what they want with them...
If you want more stuff, then sell more stuff
Its a load of rubbish, their slogan is "Things you want for things you don't" , but you cannot get the things you want because they limit you!
Heres an example - your a girl you'd understand it :lol:
Say a woman went to buy a pair of shoes at a shop, she found a pair got what she wanted, went to the checkout and the sales assistant said after 1 shoe.."You have reached your maximum number of shoes" - so you could only get 1 shoe, would that be fair?
Its like that with the pancake frenzy, i wanted the mix and the lemon, i bought the mix and it wouldn't let me buy the lemon!
If they don't remove it, many people will quit because of it...

I think its unfair, its like walking into a shop and you find something you want, but you are not allowed to buy it 'because you have already bought one before'
Its totally unfair, there should be no limits to how much we can buy, people earn their swapits to spend how they like.

Yeah but same principal, you earn money so you can spend it how you want, and you earn swapits, so you should be able to spend them how you want...

I Think Maxium Bids Are Good Idea But They Are Using Them On The Wrong Items, I Think I Think They Should Do It On Consoles More Than Things Such A Mobile Charms & pancakemix Etc..
But Then Again People Who Earn Swapits Should Get What They Want!
Then All Stuff We Cant Bid On Goes Cheap To People Who Collect Codes!  :

i agree with that ^^^^ maybe it should be restricted to one or each console per person ( though the 'bigshots' will hate that ) , but with the small items , that your not exactly gonna make a profit on should be unrestricted

I think that maximum bids are a good idea. Swapit is designed for kids and teens who, usually, don't have a lot of money. I think that they are trying to make it fairer so that more people have a chance of winning. They are probably thinking that someone wouldn't need more than one or two of any item.
Some shops do limit the amount of items you can buy if they are on special offer. I think it was Asda who were selling DVD players cheap (when they were pretty new on the market) and they were limited to three per customer.

Yeah, but putting max bids on the pancake stuff is silly :P People wanted to buy the pancake mixture and then buy some fillings to go with it, but they cant, because they are only allowed to win one item from the frenzy :? .
Putting max bids on consoles though is a good idea, I mean, who needs 2 Xbox 360's? 1 is crap enough :lol: :P
