im tryna project to the future, look at the potential, now game designers can work with effectively unlimited space for game designing, graphics, music, cutscenes, extras, engines, the whole works really!! and the fact is that any bluray playing machine is able to play these new discs!!! all it needs i think is a little software update for the ps3 and kaboooooom!! 1tb discs, although itll cos a Word Banned bomb, but if metal gear 5 is produced on one of them i would pay a bomb and a half for it!! | ||||||

MGS4 a 50gb bluray disc filled to the brim - 30 hours gameplay - loadsa cutscenes and metal gear online!! pwnd. also mgs4 is the last one directed by hideo kojima, but its not the end of the series as yoji shinkawa will probs carry on the baton. plus whos to say that hideo wont come back? also mgs4 is the end for solid snake, we still have raiden, liquid in the form of liquid revolver, also we could have more genetically modified soldiers? perhaps a new hero. or we could have some group get their hands on big bosses dna and clone him!?!?!?!? | ||||||

This post is actually BS, not unusual for Jordan and Balabangla. They're developing 1TB disks which are backwards compatible with Blu Ray, its not actually a Blu Ray disk which can hold 1TB. Therefore no games will actually use this format, all games will still be produced on a standard 50GB blu ray, Sony will not start using this new type of disk for the PS3. Plus, not a single game has even used up 50GB yet, other than maybe MGS4, so whether the disks are 50Gb or 1Tb, the games will still use the same amount. Again, as usual...

the disc is 1.2mm in size and should easily fir into the bluray drive, also with an update from psn it could be possible or use an add on hardware. and ive only read on 1 source that its backward compatible and all others dont mention this at all. loot ninja says its compatible with bluray and then goes on to express video gaming on a scale of 1tb, so its highly plausible. | ||||||

Microsoft said they wont release another xbox until at least 2010. I'd be interested to see how they do it... I mean, they wont use DVD, they cant use HD-DVD, they :) off Blu-ray and said it wasnt for games, and I doubt they will use it. Bill Gates has some sort of stupid illusion that downloads are the future which is :), at least for the next 10/15 years or so anyway. I would laugh SO much if the next Xbox came out with no disc drive and had to download all its games, LOL. Also, if Microsoft came out with some virtual 3D social networking service then that'd be hillarious. As a side note, can the 360 do video chat with other users during a game? |

1TB (1 Terabyte) is actually 1024GB, thats a lot of memory!

By that logic a 20GB product would be impossible, but it isn't. They can make then by constructing a drive from various memory capacities such as 5x4GB storage units. |
