I need help!!!I want to send loads of stuff into swapitshop but I have never been to a post office to send anything... So far I have been buying stamps therefore I hadn't needed to go to the post office, but now I have a draw FULL of stuff I want to sell and I do not have enough money to buy stamps upon stamps just to send them off, so I've decided I want to go to the post office instead but I'm scared and I don't know what to say, can anyone help me???

just wait inline and watch the people infront of you, this works when it is a very busy time, but just remember this, if you need to go to the post office, who cares what you say, its not like they're gonna come to your school and go, hey its the dude who knows nothing about posting stuff, if they do that, just sue them, they'll forget about the days events the next day

but I don't understand the fact about when you need to put the same price on the back, that is what confuses me the most

the same amount of stamps as on the front

basically, one stamp per person you send it to, easier way is to get a seperate envelope and put in one set of stamps per winner and put it in the packageing you send it off, or just ring Swapitshop, theyll tell you

yeh but the people at the post office will put one of those special stickers on the front, then I need to ask them what as I need to put the same ammount on the back!!!
I'm really confused

I'm really confused Lets say I go to the post office I get in queue then I go up and say "I want to send this to swapitshop" they put the special sticker on the front, then what do I say??? As it needs to be the same on the back!!!

ok, this is what i do:
1. bob has 7 swaps to send in
2. bob packages every swap singally puts each transaction no. and his member no. on front of each one
3. on the 7 swaps he sticks the amount of stamps needed on each swap in the ususal place on the front
4. Now cos bob has 7 swaps and it would cost him more money to put the same amount of stamps on the back, he puts all 7 swaps in one big envelope.
5. On the envelope he puts the swapitshop address, his member number and writes '7 swaps to different swappers' on the front so swapitshop know theres different swaps inside.
6. Finally bobs goes to post office and tells them he's like it sent 1st/2nd class, they will then print a label off and stick it on the front and send it off!
overall saving bob a few pence!
Hope that explains it, it is well confusing at the start

Ok... I understand slightly, but what happens if the things bob has won't all fit into the big package???
oh and how does bob know how many stamps to put on each swap???

Q1. Do exactly the same but twice or buy a postage plastic bag thingy
Q2. Usually most items are normal stamps or large letters, if you think they maybe over that then take the individuals to the p.o and ask for the cost in stamps and lot a label thing, then but them in your big parcel, or if you have scales at home the royal mail site tells you weights and prices

ok I understand a few more questions...
Q1) If you've weighed it and it is a certain price how do you get the stamps for it?
Q2) I presume that you should have all your swaps end on the same day?
Q3) Is there a mazimum of how many swaps you can put in???
and
Q4) Care to give me that Avril ticket??? Plz I've been egging my parents to spend £30 to let me go but they won't let me lol

Q1. Post office or the usual place you get your stamps from, just ask them for the amount you need for example 'can i have 2 50p stamps, 1 £1 stamp and 3 20p stamps please'
Q2. You could do, but its still possible to wait until other swaps have ended, cos you have 14 days to send each swap so as along as you work out how much time you've got left to post them, you'll be fine
Q3. I Dont think so, i think put like way over 40 in one package once :P
Q4. Hehe well they're at my bf's house atm, and he bought me mine, cant you tell your parents you'll do the housework for amount of time maybe?
