RUNESCAPE
JUST 5 MINUTES AGO I HAD A BIG PARTY DROP IN VARROCK IN SMALL BANK UPSTAIRS(ALL U RUNESCAPE ADDICTS WILL KNOW WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT)
U WONT BELIEVE THIS GUYS BUT I WAS ON THIS GAME AT LEAST 5 HOURS A DAY AND I GOT DIZZY AND PARRNOID WHEN I DIDNT PLAY
EVERY THOUGHT I HAD WAS ABOUT RUNECAPE AND I WOULD WRITE UP PLAN AND DO WEAKLY THINGS
EVERYONE FINDS RUNESCAPE ADDICITIVE.
IT TOOK ME A GOOD 3 YEARS BEFORE QUITTING AND I WAS A MEMBER FOR A GOOD 2 YEARS THATS £100 WASTED
PLUS ALL MY SCHOOL WORK WAS POOR
I EVEN PLAYED BEFORE I WENT TO SCHOOL AND BEFORE I WENT TO SLEEP
I WOULD ALSO TAKE LOADS OF DAYS OFF.
I KNOW ALL THIS SOUND LAME OVER A GAME BUT NO-ONE KNOWS WHO I AM SO IF ANYONE ELSE WHO SUFFERS FROM THIS PROBLEM PLEASE SPEAK UP. IT ABSORBS UR LIFE. I HAVE MANY TIPS ON HOW TO FIGHT THE ADDICTION. PLEASE AND ALSO IF U DO PLAY BUT ARENT ADDICITIVE PLEASE SPEAK UP AS I WANT TO KNOW HOW U DO IT.
WAS MY DROP PARTY COOL BEFORE U ASK I DROPPED OVER 18 MILL 100 SETS OF FULL RUNE MILLIONS OF RUNE AND FOOD AND SOLD ALL MY MEMBER ITEMS AND BOUGHT MILLIONS OF ARROWS AND LOBBEYS.

omg my little brother plays this game for about 12 hours a day and when i block the game he starts crying and punchin me. Sometimes he even starts to break my stuff so i had to unblock it and now he has been playin it for 1 year and a half and still is crazy about it. I cant get him off it so i thought il just forget about it. You think thats bad but he even pays £5 a month to play it for EXTRA FEATURESS!!! When you can just play it for free.

Who ever made runescape is one clever guy, he makes so much money out of 1 RUBBISH game that over 12 million kids go on a day. What a waste of time

Some of my friends play this and are really addicted. I tried it once, never really got into it though.

I Got hooked on it :/ tookme ages to get unhooked. But then i got an xbox 360, Now i am hooked on that, but at least xbox 360 has good games. I try to tell all my friends to quit and play Habbo or get a games console. Two friends did when they got a 360 or they got banned. Im still trying to get other friends to stop playing.

i played it a cuple years ago, i played from when i was 11 untill i was 13, it realy is adicting, eventually i sold my acount to my friend for 20 pounds and i've never wanted to play since

runescape is nothing compared to World Of Warcraft that is like the biggest online game ever. If you have seen the Word Banned of southpark about it you will know what i mean :wink:

runescape is an ok game at first but then becomes really competetive and people want to be the best.
everyone in the members world are higher than u and the worst thing is that other ppl would be willing to stay and do a repetative task hour 100s of hours.

i used 2 be addicted lol and quit 3 year ago and now i realise how :) it is and that games like sims 2 are sooo much better!

world of warcraft sounded like a good game until i heard about how crazy people are about it then i saw the southpark Word Banned.........

i thought i will NEVER get that game, its still a good stratergy game and i heard the new one is even better

I got int runescape a couple of years ago - cos of my mates - i started playing and cos my friends were rich they gave me money to start off with. Gradually my mates ( one was lvl70 and one was lvl55 i was lvl 17 by the time i quit) kept giving me money and stuff they won/found. I also got employed by a guy to make runes and got quite a lot of money and started bying stuff (rune and addy etc armour) that i couldnt even use!! I also got bigheaded with all my cash and stuff so started leading :) out to the wildy and killing them i also started pretending to have drop parties and then logging off and i'd pretedn to trade with people, put in loads of stuff then cancel. I basically didnt play the game any more i just went on cos i had power :oops: anyways i quit and gave all my stuff away.......

If you ask me, its sad enough talkin on a forum, but to basically LIVE in runescape land :shock: now thats sad. Im glad I didnt get addicted aswell :oops:

i don't see why people say things like "oh it's rubbish i can't stand it it's c**p well that's your opinion, fine but it can't be that bad if millions of people play it. I still play it and i'm 17 before you ask yes i have a life and i'm at college it doesn't control my life, i'm a member but for about £4 a month i think somehow that i'll cope. It isn't a game that you can complete which i think is why some people find it pointless, and not everyone on member worlds is stuck up and power hungry, i'm a level 78 granted for people that know the game my total is about 1400 now i do find it annoying when people just play it to kill, and call them selves "Pure" just because they don't train any other stats. I'm not condeming them for this, it's their way of playing the game but before people :) off the game and the people that play it there are some that enjoy playing it not only for the killing and the fighting. One thing i do have to say is the immaturity of the little people that play, i'm talking about 12 year olds that think it's funny to go round saying things like "oh i like you will you go out with me in game" this i find pointless! It's a stupid concept that some players have gotten into their heads that it's cool and fun! I don't know about anyone else that played the game but as a girl playing the game it is hard sometimes. There's a little less of it on the member worlds which is great because people actually like the game enough to pay and you don't have to worry about idiots...Never mind it won't stop me playing, although the fact that not answering the idiots due to public chat being off and then bgeing reported gets annoying. The rules are strict and for the non rule breaking players that are mistaken there is not much to be done.

i was a member for like 1 and a half years
i was a lvl 118 and i had done all the quests and mini games
i new that zezimina or sumthing
it is really addicitive.
i have got 12.5 numbers because of all the time i spent playing that game
i sold my account of ebay just a month ago got like a grand
it was well worth it.
i cant see anything cause i have got really high numbers and i need to use contacts and glasses if i want to see properly and even with these 2 things on i dont see perfect cause my numbers are so high
everyone quit runescape
it is not worth the time and money
seriously there are so many things better that runescape

I've been playing it for almost 4 years, but have only been a member for about 2 months in that time. I dont play it much anymore, only like once in a few weeks.
Quite addictive, but it was easy for me to get unhooked off it.

I played it for about a year and was addicted, I used to get up early before school to play it. But i graduadly got bored of doing the same things over and over again, so i sold it on ebay and got £60
