i feel sorry for them and i dont get why the government cant do anything to help them especially the british born people. im not racist or anthing but how come these people who come in from different countries get everything they need like homes etc. and people from this country dont get any help at all? im really disgusted by it all to be honest. other countries seem to have a better government than us i think lately no wonder so many people are moving abroad if i could i would join them!

I totally agree with you there.

I spent a night on the streets last week, and honestly its not something you would want to do every day of your life.

But WHY are these dam Polish and Asians and all being let into our country and given somewhere to live while British citizens are forced to live on the street? Fgs its just not fair.

We are part of the eu, and also are polish people that means they can move here without any problems, like we could go and move to poland, not that i would want to lol.

the goverment should really be doing more, the amount of tramps/hopeless people seems to increasing they should at least offer some support to help them cope!

the english goverment is to easy going....

they should need proof that the people will help englande go forward and stay ENGLAND and not turn into a differant contry...

i stayed on the streets this holiday-1 night....

me and my mate left a house party and culodnt be botherd to go home,we slept under a bus stop

they forign people are workinh HARD ! for a better life and most of the tramps are people who failed in life because they are to lazy and dont want the hard work of being sucessful in life.

A recent survey thing in my town showed theres actually more poles than northamptonians living here. I do love them, they work hard and such. But they've taken the jobs :? Like all the jobs you'd expect your average 16 year old to have. They've opened "Polski Klub" and it's like poles only...This is our town don't segregate us. They come over and instantly get free housing, food and work, etc. When we have our own problems.

I was talking to "Kebab Hobo" who i met in town. And he was such a nice hobo [as you may have read in another thread] and he was telling me how being homeless was a vicious cycle.
He can't get a job > because he has no phone number or address > So if he passed an interview or something > he'd never be able to be contacted.

And he has to go round asking people for food. It's like punishment and it's embarrassing and he said that some people hit him and stuff.

Thats just disgusting.

I came back from holiday in Norway, and its a lot more organized there government wise, my uncle lives in the centre of city so we have easy access to the city centre at night etc, and never do we see any homeless people, and in the news there is never anything about homelessness because there is none!

THey British government should seriosuly get some pointers

dont you think we should but forward these comments to the top governments in london do you think? i have been thinking about this for a long time i might actually contact them

hi im polish well kinda im not pround of it my dads dad was polish dats it i dont go to poland i dont talk their language and im born here and i speak in a english accent

every single person you see on the streets is given money from the government. its there problem if they want to spend it on fags and booze and the occaisional pill.
they could have good lives with the amount of money they get.

I see homeless people everyday and on days i have money i will give them £2 or something to get themselves a drink and food as i cannot stand and watch someone starve its just wrong they should be given a home to live in and maybe social money or even clean themselves up and try and get a job for example syrinians dunno how to spell it properly but they help.....

I wish there was no such thing as homeless

i havent seen much, but theres one by my uni which i help out when i have some change on me. he has a dog so it must be even more difficult to have the mutt fed aswell

Yer most of them have dogs which is a strain as theyhave to buy for themselves aswell as the dog but they manage

Your right i think that the police should leave them alone it would be different if it was them would'nt it. All they are trying to do is get some money by begging to survive.
