Ok, i was just wondering if anyone has ever questioned their faith or not. If not, why not? And could you tell me why you believe in the faith that you do, and those with no faith why is that.
I am a Muslim, i do not know all the answers to it yet as i am still learning however i do feel the fundamentals and everything that follows can be answered through reasoning, examples and Word Banned.
I look forward to your answers

| I agree with the latter, but what would make u believe in Gods existence? Will it be enough for you that he revealed himself to you. I mean i cant look deeply at the Sun for a long duration lest a go blind. So i doubt i could look at God when the Sun is just a mere creation of the All-Powerful.

Christianity, Judaism & Islam are related, but in some ways.
For example, muslims like yourself, believe that muhammad recieved (information or something?) from Angel Gabriel. ==> Angel Gabriel alerted Mary that she was having baby jesus as she looked up from the bright star ==> the bright star (St David's Star) is judaism's symbol and they believe that they should follow the star.
Christianity is split into three main types.
Catholic
Protestant
Medothist
Basically, some religions believe some things, others believe other things etc.
I am catholic and I believe catholism down to the ground. It is the right religion for me. _________________ PM Me for answers to your questions about SSF

Don't have any faith whatsoever.
And even if God DID come down and reveal that he is indeed real..
I still wouldn't follow a faith.
Religion causes too many ructions. _________________

What would be the need for God to come to the World? To tell us to do good and bad in ''person''?. This is what Christians and some other religions believe has happened. But how could God possibly die crucified and die by his own creations? Surely God must be the ever-living, All powerful. I believe that God created everything as a test to see who would be able to recognise him through reasonings. I mean i believe that everything happens for a reason; nothing can happen without a reason. Lets just say that the world was created by a big bang it would be logical to say that something had initiated that to happen and what inititaed this thing to happen must aslso have been created. The sole creater of everything being God alone. Some may then say ''who created God then?''. If you say this then you are more or less saying that God has limited or no powers. God is one who has control over everything around us
I think that one must get to grips that God is unimaginable in all aspects and can not be likened to human needs etc. For example, God provides us with food and nourishment, and why would God need to eat? He is not in need of such to keep him alive. The Quran mentions how Jesus used to eat thus, saying that he was a human just like us all and a creation of the Creator.
Yes Islam, Christianity and Judaism are all related. We Muslims believe that the prophets Jesus and Moses were also messengers for their people back then to teach people about the Oness of God, to be good etc. However, we believe that Bible and Torah were tampered, with people adding/removing things from them to satisfy their own personal interests.
The prophet Muhammed (pbuh) was later sent as the last and final messenger with the Quran for all Muslims to live by. The Miracle of this Holy book is that it will never be changed, not even a single Arabic letter. You can go to any country in the world and find that the quran there is the same as the one in so and so.

God created a world of balence, there is lots of births around the world each day, and there are lots of deaths around the world.
This happens so the world doesn't get overpopulated.
Yes, people cause problems but its the way it works to keep life in a balance. I'm not saying people should die, but life is a balance. _________________ PM Me for answers to your questions about SSF

I like some of your reasonings Adam, like with te population thing. I think that is right for balance and other reasonings can be made from it. I think every thing u do u will have to bear the consequence of them so for example if u over populate then u will have to endure hardship in raising more children for example. When the country is over populated as in China then measures such as fining parents to stop producing have to be introduced to curb and control the overpopulation. only things me and you differ is how we believe in God which decides how we live our lives.
I gave my reasonings why God is One and cannot have any partners or children etc and i do not know how any1 can disagree with that as God is not in need of anything rather he gives and does what he wills. In Islam the biggest sin one can commit is shirk which is associating partners with God, saying things like he has either a father or son or that there are many Gods. The reason this sin is the biggest and unforgivable is that it is a lie, a thought which some people invented and others following thereby blindly without reasonings. Such people who die believing such things ultimately to death are destined to hell for eternity. These people will have like this confirmed their belief all the way to death when rather one should have used reasonings and repent saying he was following blindly without reasoning and ignorance.NB some muslims too will go hell for whatever reasons like missing prayers, being bad to parents etc however Muslims are taught to ask for Forgiveness from God and those who we treat not so nicely, for verily God is forgiving. I know you may think that i might be contradicting myself here when i am saying that this sin is unforgivable so why then shiuld u repent after knowing such error. Well the reason is plain and simple cause one has like this will have been brought from the darkness and into the light and so it is good practise for him to repent.

Please note i am only saying the word God to relate with you. The proper name of God is Allah this is because this name is pure in that it can not be plurified to ''Gods'', ''Goddess'' or into other similar words such as ''Godfather'' and ''Godmother'' there is no such words as Allah-ess etc or to Allah-amee (amee meaning mother in some asian languages). (god forgive me for saying such things as i am only trying to make others understand)
woops i double posted didnt i? sorry hehe
Ok i dont think i will do more discussion on this debate for some time, as i got stack load of essays to be doing, so i urge u to learn and reason in the meantime preferably about islam or question your own faiths.

If Islam is fine for you, then thats great.
Catholisim is the right religion for me, however (like most of us) we question things about it from time to time. God has no name, therefore if god had a name we would worship "it" or "him" in a different way. Allah's is a name for god, God is the name given to god in christianity/judaism.
God, and every other religion relating to a god, is just a belief. There is no hard evidence that he or "it" existed. Therefore, because there is no hard evidence to support only one religion, we can choose our own beliefs.
Thankyou for your two replies earlier. _________________ PM Me for answers to your questions about SSF

I like talking about religious beliefs, there is never a right answer.
As for me, I was born hindu but I prefer to not think of myself as one. I believe in all paths to God- whether it is the Christian, Muslim, Hindu etc. way, so long as we all find God in our own way, that is all that matters. I don't necessarily believe in religion because religion is man made, I believe in God though and I think everyone should have their individual connection with God.
I hate the idea of people wanting to 'convert' others into their own religion because it is stupid. Each individual should find their own way and path to God, and if someone doesn't believe in God then that is fine. God is not only the Almighty being we think of, God is also the hope and power we have within ourselves. So if someone is atheist, they still have that and are just as blessed. _________________
